Hello from the Partridge Room:
We are called the Partridge Room because the Partridge is one of the clans of the Mohawk People. All classrooms have an animal name to represent a clan. In our class we do a lot of activities all in the Mohawk Language. Some activities are: arts & crafts, colouring, printing, math, and cultural activities. We also do native dancing and singing on Fridays. We have also made mini fruit pies for our bake sales. Attached is our scope and sequence for the school year.
