Objectives:
Our mission is to provide quality and unique care to our community as well as support in their place of residence.

 Criteria for Services:
Must be a band member; residing within the three districts and a referral from a physician, Community Health Nurses or Representatives, Home Care or family members.
A written physician's referral would have priority over others.

 
 Services:
To assist clients with activities of daily living and to provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry assistance, shopping, personal care and other needs.

 
 Advantages of Services:
Provided in comfortable setting within the home. Stimulates recipient to more activity and independence than in a hospital. Hospital beds are for the acutely ill and are for intensive treatment.
 Lifeline Service:
The Lifeline System is an emergency response system that is provided through Home Support Services Program.
The Lifeline system is an electronic monitoring system which alerts Akwesasne Central Dispatch, when the system user needs fhelp.
The program is designed for elders who live alone or home a chronic decease or disability.
