Home Care Nursing was established in 1990. The service was provided to the community of Ahkwesahsne, Tsi Snaihne, Kanatakon and Kawehnoke .

 The objective of Home Care Nursing is:

* To provide therapeutic and rehabilitative care to patients, in their homes.
* To provide teaching and support to family members to allow them to care for their loved ones in the homes.

 
 Some of the services that in-home nursing care provides are:
* General nursing care;
* Dressing changes, foley catheter maintenance, monitoring IV therapy, monitoring vital
signs, glucometer testing;
* Health teaching on medications, and clients medical problems, ie. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease or heart disease.

 
 Home Care nurses also monitor acute care patients, i.e.. surgical post-op patients, home from the hospital, short and long term care patients. Palliative Care is also provided on a as need basis.
Presently they are staffed with three Registered Nurses.
