A volunteer democratic organization
While FSNA maintains a National Office in Ottawa with a small administrative staff, all Branch Executives, Regional Directors, Deputy Directors and National Officers are unpaid volunteers. Policy is set by the Triennial Conventions and Officers are elected by the delegates.
You can become a member if you or your spouse is or was in receipt of a pension payment under the Public Service Superannuation Act, the Canadian Forces Superannuation Act or the RCMP Superannuation Act.
Branch dues are $30 for single and $40.20 for a family membership if paid directly to the Local Branch or National Office.
Dues deduction is also available which means you can join for $2.50 a month single membership or $3.35 a month family membership, deducted monthly from your pension payment.
FSNA is strong and continues to grow as more federal retirees recognize the benefits of joining an association committed to protecting their right to live in dignity and security. Add your voice to this important cause.
