THE MARK OF THE BEAST:
HOW MONEY AND WORSHIP WILL UNITE
In the last days of human history, there will be one religion. Every individual alive will be part of it, and those who refuse to do submit to it will be executed. Those who live to participate will be required to share a common currency:
And [the beast] forces all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads; and that no man might buy or sell, except him that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that has understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty six. (Revelation 13:16-18)
If any man worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, that same person shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever, and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receiveth the mark of his name. (Revelation 14:9-11)
The world is currently preparing for the launching of chip-based currency. TIME magazine, on April 27, 1998, quotes Henry Mundt, e.v.p. for global access at Mastercard:
"What we really see happening in the future is consumers being able to design their cards to meet individual needs."
Smart cards, however will not remain the last form money will take. As TIME explains:
"Your daughter can store the money any way she wants -- on her laptop, on a debit card, even (in the not too distant future) on a chip implanted under her skin."

Implanted chips, however, will be necessary, in order to track the movement of every individual by satellite. Although this system does track and locate lost pets and children, escaped convicts, travelling diplomats and illegal immigrants, this surveillance system will be handled by Big Brother himself.
