IGS Internet Courses
IGS is now offering personal home instruction for a number of Internet Courses. These courses are designed for customers who are new to the world of Computers and/or the Internet. A private tutor will provide you with hands-on-learning in the privacy of your home in an effort to make your subscription with IGS a truly enjoyable experience.
Each course is approximately 2 hours in length and costs $50.00. They are available Monday through Friday evenings, and on Saturday.

2. Introduction to Internet Explorer/Netscape Communicator

- Searching the Internet
- Organizing Your Bookmarks
- Downloading Text Files & Graphic Files
- Downloading and Installing Programs
3. Introduction to E-Mail, Newsgroups & Listserves
- Composing, Sending & Receiving E-Mail
- Attaching Documents to E-Mail
- Organizing Mail & Creating Address Books
- Reading & Posting Messages in Newsgroups
- Subscribing & Unsubscribing to Listserves
4. Mirabilis ICQ Chat
- Configuring ICQ
- Using the System Tray
- Adding and Finding Users
- Sending and Receiving messages, files and URL's
- Requesting and Accepting a Chat
5. Introduction to Web Page Design (Part 1)
- Using HTML Tags
- Entering & Formatting Content
- Adding Background & Text Colour
- Adding Lists, Anchors & Graphics
- Uploading to the Server
6. Introduction to Web Page Design (Part 2)
- Adding Tables & Definition Lists
- Making Multiple HTML Pages
- Using RPG Colour Codes
- Changing the Size of Graphics
- Adding Midi Files & a Counter Script
