To prepare yourself for the game, you must have the right equipment to play the game. Cleats are perfect for playing outdoor but they wouldn't be recomended for playing on a gym floor. The requirements to play are as follows...

Players must have running shoes, indoor soccer shoes preferable |

Shinguards must be worn at all times (goalies included) |
|

Shinguards must be covered at all times, preferably by socks |
|
4- |
Team jersyes must be identical to each other (goalies must wear a different style of jersey) |

Team jerseys must have numbers on the back |
|
6- |
Goalies might prefer to wear elbow and knee guards (protective gloves come in handy when facing close shots) |

7- |
Shirts must always be tucked in (goalie included) |
|
8- |
Games must be played with an official indoor soccer ball (it's a soccer ball made with felt) |
|
9- |
Water may cause a player to slip on the floor, so don't bring water into the gym, for safety |
|
10- |
Glasses may be worn at your own risk |
A player shall not wear anything which is dangerous to themselves or another player!!!
Penalty:
For any infringment of this playing rule, the player at fault shall be instructed to leave the field of play by the referee, when the ball next ceases to be in play, unless by then there is no longer an infringment. Play shall not be stopped immediately for a infringment of this rule. A player who is instructed to leave the field to adjust equipment or obtain missing equipment shall not return without first reporting to the referee, who shall satisfy himself that the player's equipment is in order. The player shall only re-enter the game at a moment when the ball is ceased to be in play.
