Other Programs Offered by Recreation Plus

After School Activity Program:  In September we will be offering an after school activity program 5 days a week from 3:30-5:00p.m.  Kids will be involved in various forms of physical activity and play.

The mandate for Recreation Plus After School Activity Program:  To provide a high quality alternative to daycare or babysitting, to parents who feel their children can develop confidence and social interaction skills through play.

 The first goal is to hire only certified fitness leaders, or Early Childhood Education graduates to run the programming.

 The second goal  is to ensure the children enjoy a playful setting in which they will develop new skills, learn social interactions and develop physically.

Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Certification and Re-certification (C.P.R.):  A range of courses from infant, child and adult C.P.R. are being taught.  Courses very from 4 - 16 hours in length of time and price varies upon which courses is being taught.  

The Mandate of Recreation Plus for C.P.R:  To provide the highest quality of education and training possible, while maintaining the standards as outlined by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

 The  goal is to make people comfortable and confident that should the need ever arise, they will be capable of taking charge and administering the appropriate level of care, to which they have been trained to give.

  The second goal is to hire only persons who are certified to teach CPR through the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
