The *Stars* will be out in January for a giant All-Star Hockey Party at the Cornwall Civic Complex. The event, on Jan. 24 at the Cornwall Civic Complex, will feature a giant-screen TV, plenty of food and refreshments, a sports auction, a special visit by several sports legends to sign autographs and to just chat about their careers. There will be all kinds of activities and just plain fun for everyone. The sports auction will give you a chance to bid on sports memorabilia that you can add to your collection. The tables will be filled with delicious food prepared by our chefs especially for the occasion and your favourite refreshments to help top off the night while watching the NHL All-Star Hockey Game televised from Florida. During the evening you'll be able to chat with some of the sports legends. It's an opportunity of a lifetime. There hasn't been an event like this in a long, long time. It's bound to be huge success and could become an annual event. But you must act quickly. There are a limited number of tickets. The price, which includes the cost of the food, is a very modes $50 each, with the proceeds going to the Canadian Mental Health Association-S.D.&G./Prescott-Russel Branch. The Canadian Mental Health Association is asking for volunteers to help organize and run this event. Anyone interested can call the C.M.H.A. at (613) 933-5845 or 1-800-493-8271. © 1995-2002 IGS CORNWALL Inc. || IGS Cornwall Acceptable Use Policy IGS Cornwall is locally owned and operated.
